Prest-O-Sales & Service provides a full line of zero and support gases developed to meet the stringent requirements of each specific environmental application. We offer Continuous Emission Monitoring (CEM) zero grade air and nitrogen; Vehicle Emission Zero (VEZ) grade air, nitrogen and Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) free grade air, helium and nitrogen.

Gas Mixtures

Prest-O-Sales & Service’s complete line of process control and laboratory gas mixtures meets the stringent requirements of each specific application, from culturing micro-organisms to the calibration and operation of analytical instruments. Mixtures can be packaged in a variety of containers, each designed to meet your specific needs. We have decades of knowledge and experience in supplying institutions and companies with high quality gas mixtures.
 
Our independently audited and certified laboratory uses high accuracy scales combined with state-of-the-art cylinder preparation techniques to ensure the most accurate and stable mixtures in the industry. We employ the most sensitive instrumentation and certified reference gases to accurately analyze all of the raw materials used in the manufacture of our mixed gases. This allows for the correction of any cross-contamination and ensures that our customers receive the most accurate mixtures possible.

We offer several grades of mixtures:

PRIMARY STANDARD GRADE – precisely blended mixtures using the most advanced gravimetric techniques, resulting in the highest accuracy of gas mixtures available. NIST traceable weights are used to calibrate the high precision scales.

CERTIFIED STANDARD – calibration gases are prepared using gravimetric or partial pressure methods. They are then analyzed against Primary Reference Standards, the results of which are reported on the Certificate of Analysis (COA).

CUSTOM MIXTURES – process gas standards that are prepared in the same fashion, and to the same specifications as the Certified Standards, but the analysis is not reported. The requested composition is reported on the label.
